great morning at cardiff radio where i shared the hour chatting about ... i believe it was art ... it will hopefully be available to listen again at culture colony soonish...

great night at opening of exhibition with a a drink later...

recently visited contemporaries art galleries in luxemberg and strassberg.... mac adams showing in luxemberg which was the stand out... also heard that the jane phillips auctioned went well with all the artists work being bought...

our weekend was spend up in wrexham.. heres review of the day with images..

at the moment theres the opportunity to see three video artists and those lucky youngsters who got some jerwood painting sponsership and launa ford.. ill be brief here... shirin neshat projects two strong screens in black and white.. really enjoyed the sounds and imagery of a muslim country and some of its man woman culture although it does all look like sex education being taught according to islamic law..interesting point is that barbara gladstone was its producer so this artist certainly has the right backing... in two words funny and  cinematic..chinese artist yang fudong shows three video screens again about relationship with a couple... again enjoyed perhaps just because of the visual and audio imagery... christodoulos panayisotou has a big tv that shows marthorn dancing to whitney housten i think..

     after a long closure of the main gallery then i am surprised that it still looks the same...  with the jerwood though nice paintings and cardboard tank so will follow with interest.., lorna ford sits at the enterance and has figures that stand in lifelike static movement... why doctor who havent seen in touch i dont know.. summary a quite afternoon at the glynn with family thinking ill never get the opportunity to show here sadly...

what a great looking auction...a lot of artists have entered work into the show so it should be a great interest with it... i have put in teapot..and  auctioneer actor helen griffiths will have the job of tring to sell it ..it all takes place on 20th august 2011 more details at website.
